COLUMBIA, Mo. — De Smet linebacker Jason King verbally committed to Missouri on Saturday, extending the pipeline of St. Louis-area talent to the in-state school.
King is a three-star recruit in the 2025 class. He was a third-team Post-Dispatch All-Metro selection last season.
During that campaign, King finished with 90 tackles, including 15 for a loss. In each of De Smet's final four games, King deployed his range to bring down 10 or more players.
He's the sixth recruit in Eli Drinkwitz's growing 2025 recruiting class. King joins Eureka offensive lineman Jack Lange — the top recruit in the state of Missouri — as recent St. Louis-area prep players to pick the Tigers.
